Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are porous materials whose crystal structures are constructed by coordination of organic linkers to metal ions. Their physical properties are modulated by selecting appropriate reagents or synthetic conditions, so they are applied in many fields such as gas adsorption, photocatalyst, transistor. 1,2,6,7-tetrakis(p-benzoic acid)cyclopenta[hi]anthrylene (H4TBACPA) is our original organic linker, which owes narrow HOMO-LUMO gap. We utilized it to obtain MOFs with narrow band gaps. Then, Ni-H2TBACPA, Bi-HTBACPA and Zn2-TBACPA are synthesized, and their crystal structures are revealed by SCXRD.
