Organic photovoltaics (OPVs) achieve high efficiency with bulk heterojunction (BHJ) structures in which donor/acceptor (D/A) are mutually interpenetrated, but the detailed internal structure and phenomena remain unknown. In this study, we aimed to construct a D/A interface structure beyond the mixed BHJ structure by using a layer-by-layer (LbL) method, in which D/A is sequentially deposited in combination with immobilization by photocrosslinking. In this presentation, we will report on the structure and performance of OPVs using LbL films with different crosslinking densities.
