At this year's spring conference, we reported the realization of a new type of photovoltaic conversion device with a metallic appearance by combining a layered film of silver nanoparticles and titanium alkoxides. Since this device has just been discovered, power generation was confirmed, but the mechanism and other details are still unknown. We interpreted the characteristic IPCE spectra as intermediate bunt-like behavior, but we received a suggestion that it might be a different phenomenon because it is not two-photon excitation. In this report, we further analyzed the data and discussed the mechanism of power generation and obtained some findings.
