トポロジカル絶縁体Bi₂Se₃のバルク状態に着目して光励起スピンダイナミクスを測定した。時間分解カー回転測定を複数の波長で行い、その結果を物質の屈折率を元に記述することで、バルク状態においてスピンに依存したバンドギャップ再正規化と状態充填効果が生じていることが明らかになった。
