quantum key distribution
Differential-phase-shift (DPS) quantum key distribution (QKD) is a QKD protocol featuring system simplisity. Regarding the security analysis, the key creation rate considering the general individual attack (GIA) was formalized, which has been stnadardly used to evaluate the DPS-QKD system performance. In this presentation, we rise a question regarding the feasibility of the conventional GIA, and propose a modified QIA scheme that solves the question in the conventional GIA.
