Continuous variable optical quantum information processors are evaluated by their input-output relationships, and coherent states are often used as input states. In recent years, quantum information processors have become broadband, and THz bandwidth processing is feasible. In this study, we propose and demonstrate a THz-band coherent state generation method using incoherent light derived from Super Luminescent Diode (SLD). This method contributes to the evaluation of ultrafast optical quantum information processors in the THz-band.
