TlBr is one of the promising compound semiconductors for gamma-ray detectors. To realize large, high-quality TlBr detectors, it is necessary to grow crystals with uniform charge transport properties. We have built and improved a system to evaluate the two-dimensional distribution of the transport properties of charge carriers generated by irradiating pulsed laser pulses on the crystal surface. In this study, we discussed the cause of the difference in the shape of the signal waveform depending on the irradiation position and proceeded to examine the measurable region.
