The working gas and plasma generation processes in atmospheric pressure plasma jets (APPJ) are closely related and mutually influential. However, the mechanisms are not fully understood. In this study, to investigate the relationship between the gas flow and the plasma generation process due to changes in the behavior of charged particles, gas flow behavior, and emission propagation phenomena were observed in an environment where an external electric field of constant direction and magnitude was applied to the plasma.
