In this study, we attempt to (i) control the activity of cytokines in the culture medium and (ii) control the amount of cytokines released from immune cells using a porous liquid plasma source. In this study, a porous membrane is used to separate gas and liquid, and active species are supplied directly into the culture medium to efficiently change the activity of cytokines and immune cells.
