Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) is an inorganic semiconductor made from abundant elements, expected to be a low-cost and environmentally friendly solar cell material. One of common film formation methods is spin-coating. However, the current method using hydrazine is highly toxic, and the method has pinhole issue. It is necessary to develop a safer and more effective technique.In this study, we produced CZTS thin films using a low-toxicity solvent, and lauryl dimathylaminoacetic acid as additive to suppress pinholes and improve crystallinity.
