Inspection using industrial 3D X-ray CT is effective for defect detection and failure analysis, and evaluation methods using energy information from photon-counting X-ray CT and segmentation are highly regarded. However, traditional methods make it difficult to grasp the three-dimensional structure of internal defects in aluminum die-cast parts. A system that represents internal structures captured by 3D X-ray CT in mixed reality was proposed, enabling an intuitive understanding of defect structures in aluminum die-cast parts.
