Gamma-ray imaging

We have been conducting a study on methods for estimating the incident direction of gamma rays based on the response intensity patterns of multiple detectors. This method comprises multiple detectors and shieldings arranged in space. It has been found that this arrangement pattern (geometry) significantly affects the imaging accuracy. In this study, we consider several aspects of geometry optimization and report the results of our efforts to improve imaging accuracy.
