Atmospheric pressure plasma irradiation is attracting attention as a new method for inducing plant responses. So far, we have shown that molecules inside and outside the seed change and that chemical species permeate the seed coat by dielectric barrier discharge plasma irradiation. In this study, the penetration of seed coat by plasma-induced chemical species was investigated based on the irradiation time dependence.
