Dual comb spectroscopy has been attracting attention as a high speed, high resolution, and highly functional spectroscopy method, but further increasing the sensitivity of spectroscopy is an issue in the measurement of trace amounts of substances. The spectral peaking phenomenon, in which periodically narrow spectral peaks are generated when an optical pulse absorbed by a molecular gas is guided through an optical fiber, is expected to increase the sensitivity of spectroscopy. In this study, we attempted to observe spectral peaks and their spectral applications using a dual comb spectroscopy system.
