In conventional crystalline silicon solar cells, output of the solar cell is limited by the principle of detailed balance, and the energy conversion efficiency is as small as about 30% even at the theoretical value.
In this presentation, we will introduce a solar cell using nm scale dopant-rich region (referred to as a region in the presentation) and the method which can increase efficiency to 70%.
At the same time, we will explain the calculation method by which we concluded that theoretical energy conversion efficiency 70% is possible.
