Single-walled carbon nanotube stacked silver nanowires (SWNT/AgNW) are expected as a semitransparent electrode for the next-generation solar cells. However, thin films show poor thermal stabilities because the electron network disconnects by melting AgNWs at high temperatures. In this study, I aim to use an n-type semiconductor of TiO2 as a heat-resistant layer for a sublayer composed of SWNT/AgNW. The TiO2 layer is stacked on SWNT/AgNW by spray coating using a TiO2 precursor solution and low-temperature heating at 150°C. Owing to the formation of the TiO2 layer, the SWNT/AgNW/TiO2 hybrid electrode maintains a low resistance of ~18 Ω sq-1 at an increasing temperature to 400°C and visible transmittance.
