著者らは，プラズマによる遺伝子導入時に細胞内電流密度が導入効率に与える影響を報告している。そこでは，96ウェルプレート上に接着培養された細胞と細胞上のプラスミド溶液を，抵抗とコンデンサからなる等価回路網でモデル化し，電流が電気的刺激の主要因であること明らかにした。本研究では，細胞内に注入される電力量と遺伝子導入範囲および細胞死滅範囲との関係を検討したので報告する。
