[22a-P02-13]Crystal Polymorphs of Phenyl/Thienyl Substituted Anthracenes and Their Optical Properties

Because different molecular conformations, crystal systems, and space groups are formed from one compound, the design of crystal polymorph has attracted much interest in the crystal engineering field. However, there are few cases in which more than four types have been observed. Recently, we have designed anthracene substituted with thienyls at the 1,5-position that gave four crystal polymorphs. Here, we report the details of these crystal structures and the design of stereo-conformational isomers based on theoretical calculations.
