[22a-P02-35]FRET-assisted Optical Waveguides based on Flexible Anthracene Molecular Mixed Crystals

Recently, π-conjugated molecular crystals are expected to be applied to optical waveguides because they have shown flexibility and excellent optical waveguide properties. Since molecular doping into organic crystals can be performed, the crystals are capable of maintaining the properties but tunable their optical properties. Therefore, we have studied here the crystal tuning of flexible crystals by accepter doping approach. Interestingly, mixed crystals show highly efficient optical waveguide characteristics compared with non-doping crystals. In this presentation, we will discuss these details.
