[22p-12N-1] [INVITED] Epitaxial thin film growth of multi-anion hydrides for development of their novel functions

Hydrogen-containing compounds have attracted attention in various fields, from electrochemistry to solid-state physics and chemistry. Here, we will talk about the crystal growth of metal hydrides thin films using reactive magnetron sputtering. In addition to simple metal hydrides, we will introduce the crystal growth of multi-anion hydrides with mixtures of O2 and N2. We will discuss the novel physical properties and functions of the multi-anion hydrides by controlling the hydrogen charge state.
