This study investigates polarization aberrations introduced by the use of a polarizer in fisheye lens imaging for achieving an all field of view. The optical design principles of the fisheye lens and the impact of polarization on its performance are examined. Experimental validation confirms the presence of polarization aberrations in the all field of view imagery. Subsequently, modulation transfer function (MTF) analysis is employed to quantitatively assess the impact of polarization aberrations on image quality. The results reveal significant effects on MTF.
