The quantum mechanical behavior of magnetic nanoparticles is interesting, moreover, they are small enough to be introduced into cells raises expectations for their application in the medical field. Theranostics is a term coined by combining the words "Therapy" and "Diagnostics," which means both therapy and diagnosis at the same time. In this talk, I will introduce the magnetic properties characteristic of the magnetic nanoparticles and the potential applications that can be proposed from the results for imaging and cancer thermotherapy.
