Poly(p-xylylene) is polymerized by chemical vapor deposition and has high mechanical strength and excellent chemical stability. Its unique polymerization method enables the preparation of uniform and defect-free films. In addition, various structures of [2,2]-para-cycrophane, a precursor of parylene, with substituents have been reported. In this study, we synthesized poly(p-xylylene) with substituents having electron transport ability and evaluated its electrical properties.
