q-2D perovskite compounds, which have an intermediate structure between 3D and 2D perovskite compounds, are expected to be applied to solar cell materials due to their photoelectric conversion properties and high stability. Because the orientation of inorganic layer of q-2D compounds to the substrate affet carrier transport properties, the control of the orientation is important. In this study, we evaluated the orientation and solar cell performance of q-2D perovskite compounds with asymmetric aliphatic and aromatic diamines.
