Since most PSCs with high conversion efficiency contain lead, their practical application is difficult due to lead toxicity issues. one of the reported methods to improve the stability of PVK solar cells is to use PEAI to modify the interface between PVK and charge transport layer. However, the mechanism of performance improvement by PEAI interface modification has not yet been fully elucidated. In this study, we report a microscopic investigation of the performance enhancement mechanism of PVK solar cells by PEAI interface modification using electron spin resonance spectroscopy.
