Time-dependent configuration interaction singles (TDCIS) method is one of the first principles methods for electronn dynamics in intense laser fields. The TDCIS can efficiently simulate ultrafast and/or strong-field phenomena in atoms and molecules. However, the accuracy of the method is degraded in case the ground state of a system cannot be described adequately by the Hartree-Fock method (by a single Slater determinant). Here we report on our development of multireference time-dependent configuration interaction singles (MR-TDCIS) method to solve this problem.
