A tertiary battery is a battery that can be recharged by temperature change by utilizing the difference in temperature coefficient of redox potential of the cathode active material and the anode active material. In this study, we investigated the effects of electrolyte concentration and type on the performance of tertiary batteries and considered the effects of battery resistance R on the open circuit voltage VTB and discharge capacity QTB of tertiary batteries.
