In this study, in order to evaluate the effect of humic acid on suppressing salt damage in hydroponic cultivation, we used OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) for plants to measure changes over time in the leaves of hydroponically grown plants. The thickness of palisade tissue increased by 10.7%, 44.8%, and 32.1% in two weeks with no salt·humic acid, 100mM salt·no humic acid, and 100mM·humic acid, respectively. It has been confirmed that humic acid is effective in preventing salt damage in hydroponic cultivation.
