Electret-based vibrational energy harvesters (E-VEHs), capable of generating electrical power from surrounding vibrations, have garnered attention as next-generation devices that could replace button batteries. Unlike conventional electret fabrication, which required charging processes, we have achieved E-VEH without such necessity by utilizing spontaneously orienting polar organic molecules. In this presentation, we will introduce the operating principles of the device and discuss results related to increasing the device's lifetime.
