Nondestructive testing applications using terahertz waves can achieve both radio-wave-like transmission and light-wave-like high spatial resolution, thus realizing a safe and secure society through multimodal measurement with other non-destructive testing methods. In recent years, the use of new mortar-based materials mixed with functional materials has become widespread, and evaluation methods for their uniformity are required. In this study, terahertz-wave transmission measurements of highly insulating mortars containing aerosols were performed.
