In order to make terahertz-band wireless communications available to the general end-users, compact terahertz transmitter/receiver devices are required for installation in mobile terminals. In this study, we have been proposing a terahertz-band linear-to-circular polarization converter (LCPC) that can be fabricated by vat photopolymerization 3D printer, and demonstrated that it can convert linear polarization to elliptical polarization through theoretical analysis and fabrication and measurements. In this paper, we report on the results of theoretical analysis that revealed the geometry of the LCPC that converts circularly polarized waves to more nearly circularly polarized waves.
