The phenomenon of ultra-broadening of the optical spectrum obtained when high-power ultrashort pulses propagate in a nonlinear medium is known as supercontinuum (SC). In this study, we report the results of numerical analysis of mid-infrared SC generation using a Ge-As-Se glass fiber, a type of chalcogenide fiber, at various composition ratios.
