A large number of molecules interact to form strong coupling state via virtual photons of the vacuum field. It has been proposed that various molecular properties can be modulated even under dark conditions. In our research group, we have observed a electron transfer reaction acceleration by the interaction between nanostructured electrodes and reaction intermediates. In this talk, we report a theoretical study on the modulation of electron transfer reaction rates at nanostructured electrodes under strongly coupled conditions.
