大気の電離閾値を超えるレーザー強度を持つ超短パルスレーザーは、集光過程で非線形光学現象が生じる。大気の非線形光学現象はレーザー集光特性に影響を与え、加工において重要なフルエンスやアブレーション径を変化させるため、このような非線形集光特性の理解は重要である。本研究では、レーザー集光条件に応じた非線形な集光特性変化を開始するレーザー強度の閾値や集光位置を簡易的に算出する手法を構築した。
