Novel probe for simultaneous measurements of rheology and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (Rheo EIS was successfully developed This system provide the correct viscosity measurements and EIS data under flow with temperature control We investigated struct ural analysis of cathode electrode slurries for Li ion battery using the developed system. The carbon black paste showed the higher viscosity and shear rate sensitive EIS data. The slurry that active material particles added to the carbon paste showed the lower viscosity and identical EIS data despite flow. It would indicate that the carbon network is cut into small pieces and forming a more dispersed and uniform structure in the slurry by mixing large active material particles.
