High-speed electro-optic modulators/optical-wireless signal convertors utilizing polarization-reversed structures have been attracting much interest for the applications to mobile fronthaul links or millimeter-wave/THz-wave signal conversion devices in Beyond-5G/6G mobile systems. In this report, the author’s recent studies on these devices will be presented.
