[23p-P02-10]Crystal growth by coating of mixture solution composed of p-type and n-type organic semiconductor into liquid crystal solvent

We have demonstrated that a growth direction of deposited organic semiconducting crystals aligned along director of liquid crystal molecule in mixture solution using liquid crystal solvent so far. For application to photoelectric conversion devices of this technique, we report on formation of heterojunction structure on rubbing-treated polyimide surface based on mixture solution composed of p-type and n-type organic semiconductor into liquid crystal solvent. We confirmed a growth direction of deposited crystals in both of p-type and n-type organic semiconductor aligned along alignment direction of liquid crystal by control of concentration.
