We have already reported that the iodine element can be replaced with chlorine or bromine one in the thin-film system of lead iodide-based 2D layered hybrid perovskite (2D LHP) fabricated by the intercalation method, when it is exposed to vapor of hydrochloric or hydrobromic acid, respectively. Here we report that the optical properties of the 2D LHP films can be tuned combining the vapor exposition and the annealing processes.
