[23p-P05-8] Electromagnetics Beginning with Lorentz Force

In physics, electromagnetism, particularly challenging for many students, is often developed starting from Coulomb's law. In contrast, this report explores the approach of placing the Lorentz force at the beginning, proceeding step by step from fundamental principles not derived from previously learned material. This not only allows for an organic understanding of basic concepts but also facilitates the natural progression of the course using analogies to mechanics, a subject often already familiar to students. We present the results of implementing and practicing this approach.
