Recent progress of laser science enables to generate high flux short pulse neutrons with energies of MeV. One of the possible applications with these neutrons is production of medical radioisotopes. We discuss the possibility of production using a compact laser system inside of hospitals. We also present experimental demonstrations using LFEX laser.
