We evaluate the characteristics of perovskite thin films fabricated using a DMF-free vacuum quenching method through techniques such as photoluminescence measurement and X-ray diffraction, and discuss their correlation with the characteristics of solar cells made with perovskite films under the same conditions. Photoluminescence spectra were mostly composites of two emission peaks near the expected band gap and at a lower energy side. For the crystal, the intensity ratio with lead iodide and crystal orientation changed drastically depending on the vacuum quenching conditions.
