We have already reported that well-organized ultra-thin films of lead halide-based 2D layered organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites (2D LHPs) are formed by immersing the LB film of octadecyl amine (ODA) in aqueous solutions containing lead halides. In this paper, we overview the present method and report the optical properties and the structure of the three different 2D LHP ultra-thin films (thickness in the range 10-100 nm).
