In this study, we developed an optical reservoir computation circuit with a memory retention function by creating complex interference in the circuit and evaluated its basic performance to realize on-chip end-to-end optical processing. In the proposed system, we verified time series prediction and memory retention performance in real-time without processing time multiplexing and revealed prediction accuracy of NMSE ≈ 0.1 and memory retention performance of about 360ps, demonstrating the effectiveness of the optical RC chip.
