We have reported that highly intense laser irradiation of alkanes and alcohols produced oligomers of the starting materials due to the creation of new interatomic bond (C–C, C–O or O–O) induced by laser driven shock wave, whose high pressure reduced the intermolecular distance between the molecules. Here, we repot the identification of the molecules produced by the irradiation of amines containing nitrogen atoms (methylamine and ethylamine). For the methylamine dissolved in methanol, ethanolamine due to C–C bond formation was detected, and for the mixture of amine and formic acid, the production of amino acids (glycine and alanine) was suggested.
