Being able to evaluate the initial process of protein crystal formation will lead to efficient crystal production. In this study, we measure evanescent light scattering from polystyrene undergoing Brownian motion in solution and protein aggregates that form and grow in solution over time and examine the formation process by analyzing dynamic light scattering profiles. In this presentation, we will report on the diffusion coefficient of fractal aggregates using protein profiles normalized with standard particles.
