We have studied the optical properties of metal nanodiscs derived by LPRs excited by optical vortex using DDA simulations. The results show that the LPR modes and optical properties depend on the symmetry and inhomogeneity of the structure. In this study, the results of the investigation of optical vortex-excited LPRs of metallic nanodiscs with cross sections of circle, equilateral triangle, regular square and regular pentagon and MIM nanodiscs composed of metal and dielectric materials are presented.
