We report on the second harmonic generation behavior of an NLO polymer / Au nanoparticle hybrid structure under surface plasmon resonance conditions. The SHG conversion was successfully increased by a factor of 700 by growing an NLO polymer thin films on the surface of Au nanoparticles.
