The most fundamental measurement of AC voltage and current employes a thermal converter to compare known DC voltage or current and unknown AC voltage or current through Joule heating. Since thermal converters are required to exhibit long-term stability more than 10 years, it is important to predict the life time of the thermal converter in a short period of time. In this study, we predicted life time of thermal conveters using statistical methods, and the Arrhenius model.
