The purpose of the present experiments is heat-treat α-MoO3-δ powder under 5.5GPa with
oxidizing agent, to discuss the relationship between lattice parameters, oxygen content and
heat-treat temperature under high pressure. After the heat treats, from 500 to 800°C, a
phase transformation from α-MoO3 to MoO3-Ⅱ phase was observed. As the treated
temperature increasing, the oxygen content from photoelectron spectroscopy results
increased and the volume of the unit cell decreased from X-ray diffraction patterns.
