[24p-1BL-7] Exploration of Measurement Technology with Polarization-Sensitive Metasurfaces and Metalenses

Metasurfaces, planar optical metamaterials, and their lens applications, meta-lenses, have attracted much attention in recent years. Advantages of metasurfaces and meta-lenses include the possibility of optical wavefront conversion including polarization, the ability to calibrate ultra-thin optical elements, and compatibility with semiconductor manufacturing processes. In this talk, we will report on our polarization-separating meta-lens for long-wavelength infrared light and give an overview of novel polarization measurement techniques using metasurfaces.
